The Director of HR will help strengthen Creshendo's people foundation by ensuring effective HR processes, supporting our team, and building practical systems that can grow with the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support recruitment, including job descriptions, interviews, selection, and hiring processes
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and volunteers
- Support managers and team members with HR-related questions and people matters
- Help ensure HR practices are consistent, fair, inclusive, and aligned with applicable requirements
- Identify HR risks and recommend practical solutions and improvements
- Help build scalable HR systems and processes as Creshendo grows
- Advise leadership on people-related matters and organizational development
- Work closely with leadership and department leads to understand and address people-related needs
- Continuously identify opportunities to make HR processes more efficient and effective
What You Bring
- Experience in Human Resources, People Operations, recruitment, or organizational development
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, discretion, independent working skills, and a practical, people-centered approach

Time Commitment & Structure
- Approximately 10 hours per week
- Fully remote
- Flexible schedule
- Works closely with leadership and department leads
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, especially those with lived experience of migration or displacement.
