    Commitment Details:
    Volunteer will place supportive calls to hospice patients/caregivers one time a week. Patients/Caregivers needs are then reported to the main office. The time commitment is about 1 -1.5 hours per week.

    Description

    Circle of Care Hospice Volunteers call hospice patients/family members one time a week to check on their needs. These needs are then reported to the main office.

    Volunteers will receive 2-3 hours of virtual training to prepare them for Indirect Hospice Volunteering. A local AccentCare Volunteer Services Coordinator will offer ongoing support to the volunteer.

    AccentCare conducts a background check on all volunteers.
