    GOLDEN GATE 10K, Golden Gate 5K Run/Walk and Golden Gate Double 8K (5k+break+3k)

    Sunday August 2, 2026 near Golden Gate Bridge (Crissy Field)

    We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our upcoming 10K/5K/Double 8K(5K+break+3K) running event at Crissy Field Golden Gate a success on Saturday, August 3rd! This special race is operated by Bob Anderson, the founder of Runner's World Magazine, and brings together runners from all over to celebrate the joy of running in one of San Francisco’s most scenic spots. Volunteers are a vital part of the event, helping with everything from check-in to water stations. In appreciation, each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt, snacks, and a sack lunch. Please arrive by 6:30 AM at Sports Basement, 610 Old Mason Street, San Francisco, CA 94129 - we’ll be in the back lot. Sign up today and be part of this exciting and inspiring community event!
