Volunteer Bookkeeper

The Younger Legacy Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building education, family stability, and community wealth from Garfield Heights, Ohio, with partners and volunteers serving across the United States and worldwide online.

Clean books are a growth strategy here. Our bookkeeper keeps program ledgers reconciled to bank records each week, files receipts and statements in audit ready order, and flags anything unclear the day it appears. You work with spreadsheet ledgers and online banking under our Treasurer's direction, across education, care package, and mentoring programs.

Requirements: bookkeeping or accounting experience, accuracy that borders on obsession, and comfort with spreadsheets. A few steady hours weekly beat heroic monthly rescues, and we will take steady every time.
