    Volunteer Interest SJH

    Program Summary: We are looking for individuals with a general interest in volunteering for St Joseph Hospice. Direct and Indirect patient care opportunities available. Additional training and information will be provided

    Locations: In home, office, and community

    Key responsibilities:

    • Assist patients and families with day-to-day activities
    • Encourage others to volunteer and get involved

    Impact Goal: The intent of the program is to promote social connections and cultivate a sense of community and comfort.

    Qualifications:

    • Comfort working with older adults
    • Sociable and engaging
    • Flexibility and patience patience

    Time Commitment: 1-4 hours per month

    Benefits: Obtain experience working with older adults, become a part of a community doing joyful work, cultivate new intergenerational friendships.
