    Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator (OSINT)

    NOTE: This is a volunteer position.

    Night Owl Reconnaissance is seeking a Director of Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding to lead efforts in recruiting, onboarding, and placing volunteers in roles that align with their skills and the organization's needs. This leadership role is vital in ensuring we build a strong, engaged, and capable team to support our mission.

    Who We Are:

    Night Owl Reconnaissance is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting law enforcement agencies with missing person cases. Our mission is to provide support, resources, and assistance to help bring missing individuals home safely. Night Owl Reconnaissance is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by missing person incidents.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategies to source and recruit volunteers through various channels (e.g., email, social media, community outreach, corporate partnerships).
    • Assess organizational needs and collaborate with leadership to determine volunteer role requirements.
    • Screen and onboard new volunteers, ensuring a smooth transition into their assigned teams.
    • Maintain volunteer records, availability, and skill sets to optimize placement.
    • Coordinate teams for large-scale operations and ensure volunteers are well-supported.
    • Regularly communicate with volunteers to foster engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Promote and clearly communicate the mission and purpose of Night Owl Reconnaissance to prospective volunteers.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in recruitment, volunteer coordination, or a related field.
    • Strong networking and outreach skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of people.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • A proactive and personable approach to volunteer engagement.
    • Experience in HR management or nonprofit work is a plus.
