    Location: In-person (weekend outreach) + limited scheduled sessions, additional online

    Time Commitment: 3–10 hours/week (flexible)

    Duration: 8–15 weeks (semester-based; flexible)

    About Healing Nations Church

    Healing Nations Church is a faith-based nonprofit focused on community outreach and sharing hope through personal connection and media. We regularly engage in street outreach, pray with individuals in the community, and use digital storytelling to share real stories of transformation.

    Internship Overview

    Healing Nations Church is seeking a Media & Videography Intern to support our weekend street outreaches and monthly video podcast recordings. This internship is designed as a hands-on learning experience for students interested in videography, content creation, and faith-based media.

    This internship is eligible for academic credit, and we are happy to complete required paperwork and coordinate with your school.

    Learning Objectives

    Interns will:

    • Learn ethical filming practices in public and ministry settings
    • Gain experience filming live outreach and community interactions (with consent)
    • Understand storytelling within faith-based and nonprofit media
    • Learn the basics of YouTube content creation and niche strategy
    • Develop foundational video editing and content workflow skills
    • Build confidence asking questions, receiving feedback, and growing creatively

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Film weekend street outreach events, meeting people and praying for them and interviews
    • Capture b-roll and behind-the-scenes content
    • Assist with monthly video podcast recordings (3–4 hours, once per month)
    • Help organize and label video footage
    • Participate in feedback and learning discussions

    Mentorship & Training

    • Interns will be mentored by a YouTube content creator with experience in this niche
    • Learn basic video editing skills relevant to YouTube and social media
    • Open access to ask questions about:
      • Editing workflows
      • Videography techniques
      • Content strategy & growth
    • Additional hours available upon request for interns who want deeper training in:
      • Editing
      • Videography
      • YouTube content creation

    Supervision & Evaluation

    • Interns will be supervised by the Pastor
    • Regular check-ins and feedback provided
    • End-of-internship evaluation and/or reflection available for school requirements
