What?
Personal Touch is looking for individuals to help with hospice patients. As a Hospice Volunteer with Personal Touch you can provide periodic support to Hospice Volunteers are a valuable and necessary part of the healthcare team, whose work and feedback can help us fulfill our mission to the families we serve.
How?
Hospice Volunteers have to go through an initial Hospice Volunteer Orientation then participate in Volunteer Training with the Volunteer Coordinator. After training, volunteers will be supplied with the appropriate information and documentation to provide support to patients and families.
Why?
Hospice Volunteers provide tremendous support to the Hospice Team, allowing us to provide the best possible care. Volunteers also develop a unique understanding of the process through which they can help others heal. You don’t have to have a degree in counseling or healthcare to be a part of this wonderful experience.
