🐾 VOLUNTEER NEEDED — Right-Hand Admin Support | Stray No More Animal Rescue

We're not going to sugarcoat it — we need help. Real help.

Stray No More is a small, all-volunteer animal rescue currently caring for 75–100 animals at any given time, and the truth is, there are really only two to three people running the whole show — coordinating fosters, transports, store partners, social media, adoptions, communications, and everything in between. And one of those two people is about to welcome a new baby while already chasing a toddler. 🍼

So yeah. We need you.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We need reliable, organized, self-starting volunteers who can genuinely step in and help keep the wheels turning. This isn't a "post on Instagram once a week" kind of role. This is a right-hand support position — someone who can jump in, figure out what needs to happen, and make it happen without being asked twice.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE DAY TO DAY

• Helping the director/founder stay organized and moving forward
• Supporting admin tasks — emails, applications, scheduling, coordination
• Interviewing and vetting adoption, foster, and volunteer applicants
• Assisting with foster and transport logistics
• Helping manage our social media presence
• Picking up tasks as they come — because in rescue, they always come
• Being a steady, dependable presence so our small team doesn't burn out

YOU'RE OUR PERSON IF YOU:

✔️ Are highly organized and actually like keeping things in order

✔️ Can communicate clearly, warmly, and in a timely way

✔️ Are comfortable interviewing people and making judgment calls

✔️ Can juggle multiple things at once — welcome to rescue life

✔️ Don't need constant hand-holding — you see a gap and you fill it

✔️ Are passionate about animal welfare and understand the stakes

✔️ Have a few consistent hours per week to give (more is always welcome)

✔️ Understand that everyone here has jobs, families, and lives — and that's okay

We are a lean, scrappy, passionate team doing an enormous amount of good for animals who have nowhere else to go. But we are human, and we are stretched thin. The right volunteer in this role doesn't just help us — they help every single animal that comes through Stray No More.
