Film and Theater Students Wanted to watch Movies and Musicals with Hospice Patients.

Do you believe in the power of storytelling, music, and the arts to bring comfort and connection?

At Gentiva Hospice Tucson, We are looking for compassionate film and theater students to volunteer by spending time with hospice patients who enjoy watching classic films, favorite movies, and beloved musicals. Sometimes the greatest gift you can offer is simply your presence. The power of just showing up on a consistent basis means sharing laughter, songs, memorable performances, and meaningful conversations inspired by the stories you share together with patients who have a medical diagnosis of 6 months or less to live.

As a volunteer, you will:

• Watch movies and musicals with hospice patients.
• Provide companionship and meaningful social connection.
• Share conversations about favorite actors, performances, and memories.
• Help create moments of comfort, joy, and dignity through the arts.

Students of all skill levels are welcome; just kindness, empathy, reliability, and a love of film and theater!

This is a wonderful opportunity to:
