    Description

    Are you an organized leader who enjoys bringing people together?

    The National Domestic Violence Rally is seeking an Assistant Volunteer Coordinator to help recruit, communicate with, and support volunteers before and during our annual Walkathon, Rally, and Gala in Washington, DC.

    This leadership volunteer position works closely with our Volunteer Coordinator to ensure every volunteer feels welcomed, informed, and prepared to serve.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assisting with volunteer recruitment
    • Helping schedule volunteer shifts
    • Answering volunteer questions
    • Coordinating event-day assignments
    • Managing volunteer check-in
    • Supporting team communication
    • Helping recognize volunteer contributions

    Perfect for individuals interested in nonprofit leadership, event management, human services, public administration, or community outreach.

    Qualifications

    • Organized
    • Strong communication skills
    • Positive attitude
    • Leadership experience is helpful but not required
