Volunteer Social Media Storyteller — Facebook Focus

Responsibilities

The Volunteer Social Media Storyteller will help Unbridled Paths grow our Facebook presence and share the heart of our mission with the community.

Responsibilities may include:

• Creating and scheduling Facebook posts that highlight our riders, horses, volunteers, programs, events, and fundraising needs.
• Helping write captions that are warm, clear, encouraging, and mission-focused.
• Sharing stories that show the impact of equine-assisted therapeutic riding and learning.
• Helping organize photos and short videos for Facebook posts.
• Promoting volunteer opportunities, program openings, events, and donation campaigns.
• Suggesting simple ways to increase engagement, reach more families, and connect with potential volunteers and supporters.
• Working with our team to plan weekly or monthly content ideas.
• Helping keep our Facebook page active, positive, and consistent with the Unbridled Paths mission.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is creative, dependable, and passionate about using social media for good.

• A good fit would be someone who:
• Enjoys Facebook and social media.
• Can write friendly, clear, and engaging captions.
• Has a heart for children, adults with special needs, horses, families, and community service.
• Communicates well and follows through on commitments.
• Can work independently while staying connected with our team.
• Is comfortable using photos, stories, and simple graphics to inspire others.
• Has a positive, respectful, and mission-minded attitude.
• Horse experience is not required.
• Helpful but not required:
• Experience managing a Facebook page.
• Experience with Canva or basic graphic design.
• Photography or short video experience.
• Nonprofit, fundraising, marketing, or communications experience.
• Familiarity with Palm Beach County or Martin County.

Other Details

This is a flexible volunteer opportunity. Most of the work can be done remotely, but occasional visits to the farm are helpful for gathering stories, photos, and understanding the mission.

Estimated time commitment: 2–3 hours per week, with flexibility depending on availability.

Location: Hybrid / partly remote. Farm visits may take place in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Unbridled Paths is a faith-based, PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Center serving Palm Beach and Martin County. Through equine-assisted therapeutic riding and learning, we help children and adults with special needs build confidence, connection, strength, and joy through the healing power of horses.
