Description
Community Caregivers operates Project Upkeep as a complimentary program to better help our clients maintain their independence in their homes. This program is funded annually by M&T Bank. Volunteers with a range of skills are needed to assist our clients. Sample projects include: weatherizing doors and windows, fixing or installing hand rails, installing proper lighting and fixing leaky faucets. Often times Project Upkeep volunteers are sent out to appraise a project to determine if it can be accomplished by our volunteer team.
We need volunteers and tradesman to offer assistance to our elderly and disabled clients. Volunteers will be assigned tasks to improve the safety and livability of their homes. Volunteers and tradesman will be reimbursed for materials by our clients or through the Project Upkeep fund.
Interested volunteers also complete fall and spring yard cleanups and dump runs.
