    Description

This is our most popular group activity at The Boulevard of Chicago!

    http://www.blvd.org

Our Share-a-Meal (SAM) program offers the opportunity for a group of 5-12 volunteers to provide the food, cook it in our kitchen or yours, serve the meal (lunch or dinner), and eat with our 64 residents. Both weekends and weekdays are available. The Volunteer Coordinator can provide any interested group leader with a guide for a successful SAM event.

What We Do: The Boulevard of Chicago serves over 500 homeless adults annually, helping them recover from physical injury, illness, addiction or mental health issues. After they recover, we assist Residents in finding safe housing and an income if possible: our goal is to help every client leave the homeless experience, hopefully forever.
