An Experiential Learning Opportunity-MSW Interns VITAS Healthcare for Hospice Patients and Families.

VITAS Healthcare has opportunities for MSW students to gain experience providing patients, families and caregivers psychological and social support under the guidance of a VITAS MSW Field Instructor and Team Manager. Some responsibilities may include attending Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team Meetings, assisting patients/families access community resources and government benefits and assess needs, potential crisis situations, grief issues and provide bereavement services.

MSW Interns must be enrolled in a Master of Social Work Program at an accredited college or university.
