Are you kind, patient, and looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life?

We’re seeking compassionate volunteers to spend time with a remarkable older adult (80+) living in an Adult Family Home in Kent, WA (98031). This individual is hearing impaired and experiences cognitive challenges, with decreased socialization since moving into their new home. Family remains actively involved, and your presence can help brighten their days.

Interests Include:

• Drawing & crafting
• Taking things apart & wire bending/weaving
• Botany & football
• Listening to music

Ideal Volunteer:

• Kind, patient, and respectful of personal boundaries
• Comfortable with light conversation and shared activities
• Able to communicate with the care team as needed

Volunteer Requirements:

To ensure a safe and supportive environment, all volunteers must complete:

• A Volunteer Application
• Background Screening
• Medical Screening
• Minimum commitment of 3 in-person visits per month
