    COMMUNITY OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT VOLUNTEER

Stride4ward Inc. is seeking a friendly, dependable Community Outreach & Engagement Volunteer to help us connect with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), caregivers, families, community organizations, and local service providers.

    About Stride4ward

Stride4ward is a nonprofit supporting the well-being of individuals with IDD and their caregivers. We make creative expression, educational resources, immersive experiences, community activities, and caregiver support more accessible where families live, gather, and belong.

Our work includes Everyday Strides, an accessible online community and activity resource, along with small community outings and inclusive events.

    The volunteer will help us:

    • Identify and contact community organizations, schools, libraries, day habilitation programs, caregiver groups, and disability service providers
    • Introduce Stride4ward and Everyday Strides to potential participants and community partners
    • Share approved flyers, event announcements, and outreach materials
    • Help maintain a simple list of outreach contacts and follow-up dates
    • Assist with community events, information tables, and participant outreach when available
    • Help us learn what individuals with IDD and caregivers need from local programs and resources

    What You’ll Gain

    • Hands-on nonprofit and community engagement experience
    • The opportunity to build relationships with local organizations and disability advocates
    • Experience supporting an emerging nonprofit and an accessible digital community
