    Description

    Phoebe’s Safe Haven is a nonprofit organization working to create accessible, ADA-compliant safe housing and support services for women with disabilities impacted by domestic violence. Our mission is rooted in dignity, accessibility, empowerment, and creating pathways to safety and healing.

    Phoebe’s Safe Haven is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Volunteer Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative needs of our growing nonprofit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, communication, systems building, and helping mission-driven work move forward behind the scenes.

    The Administrative Assistant will help maintain records, organize communications, support scheduling, assist with volunteer coordination, and contribute to keeping projects on track.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and organize general email communications

    • Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars

    • Maintain digital files and organizational documents

    • Support volunteer onboarding and follow-up communication

    • Assist with preparing meeting agendas and notes

    • Help update spreadsheets, trackers, and databases

    • Support basic donor and outreach administration

    • Organize templates, forms, and internal documents

    • Coordinate administrative follow-up tasks

    • Assist with nonprofit launch and operational projects

    • Basic experience with spreadsheets and document management

    • Able to manage multiple priorities

    Helpful (Not Required)

    • Experience with nonprofits

    • Familiarity with Canva, Google Workspace, Airtable, or project management tools

    • Administrative or executive support experience

    • Volunteer coordination experience
