    Description

    Volunteer Office Administrative Assistant - Detroit, MI

    The purpose of this role is to support the St. Jude mission & vision and provide the office with administrative support.

    Key Responsibilities

    The Volunteer Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for:

    • Assisting staff with basic administrative tasks
    • Answering email inboxes and providing exceptional customer service
    • Entering information into Microsoft Office applications
    • Assisting with preparations, correspondences and mailings
    • Maintaining confidentiality of all data entered
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Computer skills: data entry, email, online research
    • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Detail oriented
    • Ability to understand directions and follow procedures

    Screening

    • Volunteer must complete a criminal background check and interview

    • St. Jude Volunteer Orientation (new volunteers)
