    There is no time commitment when choosing to volunteer with our patients on Hospice. Our patients enjoy an hour a week to a few hours a month. Volunteers do not provide hands on services but rather bring joy through companionship, laughter and time

    Caris Healthcare Hospice Patient Care Volunteers

    Caris Healthcare Hospice Patient Care Volunteers- visit with patients and their families, providing comfort and offering much-appreciated support

    • Walk or sit with patients to talk and listen
    • Read to patients
    • Enjoy a favorite movie or TV program with a patient
    • Listen to a patient's favorite music
    • Play card or board games
    • Write letters for patients
    • Be present for spiritual support, prayer, and care
