Court Appointed Special Advocates of Sacramento County (CASA Sacramento) recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children. As a CASA, you will work one-on-one with a child advocating on their behalf in the juvenile court and assisting them in obtaining all necessary services while they are dependents in the foster care system. With the extension of foster care until age 21, we also match advocates with young adults who will eventually transition out of foster care and welcome the support of a caring adult. We have opportunities to advocate for older youth, juvenile justice-involved youth, and siblings. Bilingual volunteers and male volunteers especially needed. Please contact us to learn more.
