    Description

The B-Unit is an organization dedicated to supporting returning citizens through transitional housing, workforce development, and holistic support services. Our mission is to create pathways to stability, employment, and long-term success by connecting individuals to resources, opportunities, and a supportive community.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking volunteers who can assist in key administrative areas, including:

    • Grant writing and funding research
    • Infrastructure and organizational development
    • Reviewing and editing documents
    • Assisting with SAM.gov registration and compliance processes

These efforts are critical in helping us build a strong foundation that allows us to expand our services and deepen our impact.

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to contribute their skills in a meaningful way while supporting an organization committed to equity, second chances, and community empowerment.

If you are interested or would like to learn more, please feel free to reach out. I would be happy to connect and discuss how you can get involved.

Thank you for your consideration and support.

    Instructions:

As we continue to build and expand, we are specifically seeking volunteers and partners who bring:

    • Strong administrative and organizational skills
    • Experience in nonprofit management, operations, or leadership
    • The ability to support infrastructure development and systems building
    • A commitment to excellence, accountability, and collaboration

Equally important, we are looking for individuals who have a genuine desire to work with housing initiatives and the reentry population. This work requires not only skill, but compassion, cultural awareness, and a deep commitment to equity and second chances.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact areas such as grant development, program structure, compliance processes (including SAM.gov), and strategic growth planning.
