Videographer Needed, Cat Rescue Gala (The Catalyst Ball)

Paws and Claws Cat Rescue is looking for a volunteer videographer to capture our 2nd annual gala, The Catalyst Ball.

This event is a key fundraiser that supports our mission of saving cats at risk and expanding our reach as an organization. Your work will help us capture the impact of the night, allowing us to share our mission and connect with new supporters!

Event Details

Date: May 30, 2026

Location: Evanston, IL (The Woman’s Club of Evanston)

Time Commitment: 5pm-11pm

What You’ll Do

• Capture video throughout the event, including cocktail hour, program, and key moments

• Focus heavily on b-roll, including guest interactions, candid moments, ambiance, and event details

• Film speakers and key program elements

• Help tell the story of the night through dynamic, engaging footage

• Provide edited video content post-event (or raw footage if editing is not possible)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with event videography preferred

• Own equipment (camera, audio if needed, etc.)

• Strong eye for candid moments and storytelling

• Ability to move throughout the space and capture a variety of shots without interrupting the flow of the event

• Interest in animal welfare and community-focused work
