    About Us

The Disu Foundation empowers youth, uplifts families, and strengthens communities across the U.S. and Ghana. We’re passionate about creating brighter futures, and we need your creativity to help spread the word!

    The Role

Do you love social media, storytelling, and design? We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Volunteer to help bring our mission to life online. From catchy posts to eye-catching graphics, you’ll help us inspire people to join in and make an impact.

    What You’ll Do

    • Create and share fun, engaging posts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more

    • Whip up simple graphics or videos to highlight our campaigns

    • Help spotlight stories from programs like Dare to Dream and GivingTuesday

    • Track likes, shares, and comments-and celebrate wins with the team

    • Brainstorm fresh ways to grow our online community

    Who You Are

    • Creative, enthusiastic, and social-media savvy

    • Comfortable with tools like Canva (or excited to learn!)

    • Strong communicator who loves connecting with people

    • Marketing, design, or nonprofit experience is great-but not required

    How We’ll Support You

We want you to feel confident, inspired, and set up for success. As part of our team, you’ll receive:

    • Creative toolkits (templates, graphics, hashtags, messaging guides)

    • Weekly check-ins for feedback, brainstorming, and encouragement

    • Collaboration opportunities with other volunteers and campaign leads

    • Recognition and shoutouts across our platforms and team meetings

    • Flexibility-we’ll work around your schedule and strengths

    Why It’s Awesome

    • Use your skills to make a real difference

    • Build your portfolio with meaningful nonprofit work

    • Collaborate with a fun, passionate team

    • See your posts directly fuel support for kids and families
