    Description

Digital Media & Podcast Volunteer: Advocate for a Balanced Future (Remote)

About Us At Balance Due, we believe that creating a sustainable, equitable future requires societal balance, emotional resilience, and a rejection of systems built on greed and coercion. We are a digital movement and nonprofit dedicated to fostering inner peace and cultural empathy. We create content that challenges the status quo and champions mental wellness for people of all backgrounds.

The Opportunity Are you a college student deeply empathetic to the challenges facing our global future? Do you want to use your digital skills to advocate for emotional resilience and equity across all cultures?

We are looking for a passionate, tech-savvy student to join our remote team. This is a unique chance to build a powerful professional portfolio in digital marketing, e-commerce, and broadcast media, all while making a tangible impact. You won't just be running social media; you will be an active voice on the Balance Due News podcast, helping us shape conversations that matter to the future of our communities.

How You Will Make an Impact:

    • Elevate the Message (Podcast Co-Hosting): Step up to the mic as a host and interviewer for Balance Due News. You will help facilitate vital conversations around mental wellness, systemic balance, and cultural empathy.
    • Mobilize a Movement (Social Media & Growth): Run our Instagram and Meta Business Suite. You’ll design campaigns to solicit new subscribers, amplifying a message of resilience to a wider audience.
    • Drive Sustainability (Shopify & Affiliates): Apply your knowledge of e-commerce and affiliate marketing to manage our Shopify storefront, helping fund our mission and community outreach.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Mission-Driven: A deep, genuine empathy for the plight of the future and a desire to advocate for wellness across all cultures.
    • Digitally Native: Proficient in social media marketing (specifically Meta Suite and Instagram).
    • Business-Minded: Hands-on experience with Shopify and a solid understanding of affiliate marketing (a great way to apply what you're learning in your marketing or communications classes!).
    • Articulate & Confident: Comfortable speaking on camera/mic and interviewing guests.
    • Tech-Equipped: be comfortable on Patreon and comfortable using Slack for occasional communication.
    • Independent: Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working 100% remotely around your class schedule.

Why Join Balance Due? Build your resume with hands-on, high-level experience that goes far beyond a typical internship. You will have creative freedom, flexible work-from-home hours tailored to the student lifestyle, and the opportunity to be the voice of a brand dedicated to authentic, collective healing.

How to Apply: Please send a brief introduction telling us why you are passionate about the future of our culture. Include your experience with Shopify and the Meta Suite, any past podcasting or on-camera work, and links to social media accounts you have managed.
