    Virtual Meeting Coordinator (Remote Position)

    Job Description

    The Virtual Meeting Coordinator is responsible for directing and operating Zoom meetings for the nonprofit organization. This remote position ensures smooth, professional, and secure online meetings for programs, workshops, and collaborative groups.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Schedule and manage monthly Zoom meetings (6–8 p.m.) 4th-Monday meetings.

    Prepare Zoom links, meeting IDs, passwords, and email reminders.

    Open meetings early to perform audio/video checks.

    Manage waiting rooms and admit attendees.

    Operate all Zoom controls: mute, spotlight, screen share, chat, and participant tools.

    Manage breakout rooms and polling.

    Provide real-time technical assistance.

    Record meetings and save files, transcripts, and chat logs.

    Maintain attendance logs and distribute materials.

    Ensure online safety using proper security settings and permissions.

    Support presenters with slide sharing and timing.

    Volunteer Role Description

    This volunteer role provides critical support by operating Zoom meetings for the organization. Volunteers contribute to accessibility, communication, and digital engagement during meetings.

    Qualifications

    Comfort using Zoom and virtual meeting tools.

    Reliable internet connection.

    Ability to communicate clearly in virtual settings.

    Basic troubleshooting skills.

    Organized and able to manage multiple digital tasks.
