    Description

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is a 132-year-old settlement house widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers. Founded in 1894 as a free kindergarten for immigrant children, the Neighborhood House now serves 16,000 people in need each year through a wide variety of effective and integrated services--social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness.

We are seeking volunteers to lead interactive weekly activities for participants in our CARE program, an arts-based day program for older adults with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Activities could include arts & crafts, singing, yoga, guided meditation, or painting. Times available: Monday, 1:00-2:00 (Virtual), Tuesday, 11:20-12:00 or 1:00-2:00 (Virtual), Wednesday, 11:30-12:00 or 1:00-2:00 (In-person), Fridays, 1:00-2:00 (In-person).
