Empowering Black women through literacy, community, wellness & joyful experiences.
Well Read Sistas Inc. is expanding our 2025 programming, and we’re calling in talented, mission-aligned volunteer staff to help us elevate the sisterhood. These volunteer roles are high-impact, experience-driven, and perfect for professionals who want to serve, give back, and sharpen their craft while pouring into a community of Black women and girls.
If you are skilled, passionate, reliable, and excited to support a growing national literary movement—we want you.
✨ Chat Facilitators (Virtual & In-Person)
Lead our signature Sis, You Good? weekly wellness check-ins, social enrichment circles, and literary-focused discussions. Volunteers should be empathetic, confident group facilitators with strong communication skills and a commitment to psychological safety and joyful Sistahood.

- Mission-aligned Black women and allies who believe in literacy, community, wellness, and joy
- Experienced professionals willing to lend their skills in-kind
- Warm, reliable, communicative team players
- Individuals who lead with compassion, equity, and purpose
