    Program Officer - Advanced Training & Certification

    Are you looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic group of individuals dedicated to increasing leadership opportunities for women and individuals in the Snowsport Industry?

    Women of Winter, Inc. is seeking a Program Officer for our Advanced training programs. The position reports to the Executive Director as part of the Women of Winter Program Group for scholarship application and awardee process. Maintains communication and outreach with current and previous level 1 Scholarship recipients to create and maintain the Community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reports to the Executive Director as part of the Program Administration Group.
    • Coordinates with PSIA-AASI, NRM Education Director /Women of Winter Education Director and Program Clinicians on all requirements for the programs.
    • Works with PSIA-AASI and the Selection Committee, manages scholarship applications and oversees the recipient announcements working with Chief of Staff, Marketing and Social Media.
    • Works with Social Media Coordinators to identity community highlights, i.e., "Women of Wednesday" and other member highlights during the fiscal calendar (July 1 - June 30).
    • Oversee logistics for all advanced training participants, including Freestyle, Children's Specialist Level 1 Certification Programs and Avalanche Safety Certification - working with the On-Snow Coordinator during the on-snow portion of the program.
    • Communicate with recipients before, during, and after programs. Identifies opportunities for jobs in the industry and other outdoor opportunities.
    • Identify program improvements based on feedback.
    • Optional attendance to the on-snow Program.
    • Attend required Orientations (virtual)
    • Serves on the Community Outreach Committee

Participating in the On-Snow Program is not required. If you plan to attend, lift tickets and meals are included. Lodging and Transportation are on your own but discount opportunities will be provided.
