About Visiting Dental Hygiene

Visiting Dental Hygiene, Inc. (VDH) is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing preventive dental hygiene care directly to individuals who face barriers accessing traditional dental services.

Our mobile dental hygienists provide care at senior centers, recovery programs, shelters, schools, and other community settings, regardless of an individual's ability to pay.

As our organization continues to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us connect with more people and communities!

How You Can Help

We're seeking friendly, reliable, and community-minded volunteers to represent VDH at local events and outreach opportunities, including:

• Community health fairs and wellness events
• Holiday outreach and charitable events
• Senior center and community resource fairs
• Local festivals, networking events, and community gatherings
• Other opportunities to share information about VDH's services and mission

Volunteers may help set up informational tables, distribute brochures and educational materials, speak with community members about our programs, and connect interested individuals and organizations with our team.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need a dental or healthcare background to volunteer with us!

We're simply looking for individuals who:

• Enjoy meeting people and engaging with their community
• Are friendly, dependable, and comfortable speaking with others
• Believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare
• Are enthusiastic about supporting a growing nonprofit
• Can occasionally volunteer a few hours at community events

We'll provide the information, materials, and guidance you need to feel comfortable representing VDH.

Flexible Opportunities

We understand that everyone has different schedules! Volunteer opportunities are event-based, with no ongoing weekly commitment required.

Whether you're available for an occasional health fair, a holiday outreach event, or a few community gatherings throughout the year, your time and enthusiasm can make a meaningful difference.
