    Our 11th Hour Volunteers provide a sacred gift — compassionate presence during a patient’s final moments. This specialized volunteer role focuses on offering comfort, peace, and dignity when it matters most.

    What is an 11th Hour Volunteer?

    11th Hour Volunteers are specially trained individuals who:

    • Sit quietly at the bedside of patients in their final hours
    • Offer calming reassurance and gentle presence
    • Read, pray, play soft music, or simply hold a hand
    • Provide comfort when family cannot be present
    • Support loved ones during a deeply emotional time

    No medical experience is required — only a compassionate heart and a willingness to serve.
