    Description

    Volunteer Worker for Anne's Haven 501c3 - A Women's Healing & Empowerment Collective

Anne's Haven is a 501(c)3, located on the northwest side of Chicago, and we are looking for volunteers to help grow our organization.

Our focus is on healing, empowerment, and sisterhood. We are looking for volunteers of all genders, nonbinary, and from all ethnic and religious backgrounds.

The schedules are flexible and volunteers are able to choose from a large selection of assignments as well as encouraged to use their own initiative to create a lasting impact on the community! We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are passionate about our mission to serve women through healing and empowerment.

We are requesting that volunteers commit to 8 hours of service a month. Monthly meetings (1 hour) will be factored into your service hours. Please note that the monthly meetings are a requirement. Assignments can be online or in person and can involve a combination of outreach and event work depending on each volunteer's particular needs.

Among the capabilities we are looking for:

    • solid writing and communication skills
    • independent workers and strong team players
    • volunteers who take initiative and are committed to seeing an assignment to completion
    • social media skills
    • fundraising skills

We work with our volunteers to create an experience that not only helps Anne's Haven grow, but provides opportunities that will enrich your life, and ways for us to grow together.

Before responding please consider your schedule carefully and be confident that the 8 hrs per month can achieved without undue pressure on your life.

Furthermore, volunteers who commit to 8 hours of service a month for at least one year will be offered a spot on the Haven's working board!
