Description
We are looking for a motivated volunteer to support our disaster management consulting team by managing outreach efforts and coordinating our roster of experts and volunteers. This role is crucial in connecting skilled professionals to projects, maintaining active communication, and ensuring timely deployment of resources to maximize impact.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the roster of disaster management consultants and volunteers.
- Conduct outreach to recruit new experts and expand the network.
- Coordinate communications between team members, clients, and partners.
- Support scheduling and deployment of consultants for projects.
- Help maintain engagement and retention of volunteers.
- Coordinate staff/volunteer training sessions.
- Maintain accurate training and deployment records
- Ensure adequate staffing for scheduled activities
- Identify training needs and coordinate trainers
- Prepare and share training materials and schedules
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in training coordination ,outreach, volunteer coordination, or project support preferred.
- Interest or background in disaster management a plus.
- Ability to manage databases or roster tools efficiently.
