    Are you a returning citizen who has successfully reintegrated into society as a professional over the past three years? Do you want to use your personal experiences to inspire and guide others on the same journey? Join us as a Peer-to-Peer Mentor for Returning Citizens and make a difference in the lives of individuals who are working to rebuild their lives after incarceration.

    • *Role and Responsibilities:**
    • Offer guidance, support, and encouragement to individuals who are returning citizens and have recently reentered society as professionals.
    • Share your personal experiences and challenges to provide insights into overcoming obstacles and making positive life choices.
    • Assist mentees in setting realistic goals for their reintegration, both professionally and personally.
    • Help mentees develop essential life skills, such as job readiness, financial management, and conflict resolution.
    • Provide a listening ear and a non-judgmental space for mentees to discuss their concerns and aspirations.
    • Collaborate with program coordinators to track mentee progress and address any emerging needs.
    • Participate in group mentoring sessions and workshops as needed.
    • *Qualifications:**
    • A returning citizen who has successfully reintegrated into society as a professional and maintained stability for at least three years.
    • Willingness to share personal experiences in a constructive and supportive manner.
    • Empathy, patience, and the ability to provide non-judgmental guidance.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to actively listen and provide constructive feedback.
    • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting mentees' privacy.
    • A desire to help others navigate the challenges of reintegration and build a positive future.
    • *Time Commitment:**
    • The time commitment may vary based on mentee needs and group mentoring sessions.
    • Mentoring sessions can take place in person, over the phone, or through virtual platforms.
    • Flexibility to accommodate mentees' schedules while ensuring consistent engagement.
