    Description

    Fairfax County Public Schools/Mount Vernon - afterschool knitting programs at elementary schools in the greater Mount Vernon area. Our afterschool program aims to provide a nurturing and creative environment where students can learn knitting. Spring semester sessions are underway. Volunteers needed: 3+ per school

    Locations:

    • Hollin Meadows Elementary School (2310 Nordok Pl, Alexandria) Tuesdays from 3:15-4:15
    • Riverside Elementary School (8410 Old Mt Vernon Rd, Alexandria) Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:15
    • Bucknell Elementary School (6925 University Dr, Alexandria) Thursdays from 3:50 pm - 5:15
