About Us

Promises Kept Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit organization serving individuals and families across the Bronx and New York City. Our mission is to empower people to overcome life challenges through mentorship, spiritual growth, and community support. We believe in meeting people where they are and walking with them toward lasting change.

Volunteer Roles

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable volunteers who want to make a positive difference in their community. Opportunities include:

• Community Outreach
• Support our outreach team by sharing information about our ministry, programs, and services at community events, churches, and resource fairs.
• Program Support
• Assist with organizing workshops, mentoring sessions, and small-group programs. Help with attendance, materials, and participant check-in.
• Administrative Help
• Support our office with data entry, phone calls, filing, or scheduling appointments.
• Social Media & Communications
• Create posts, take photos, and help update our website and social media channels to share the work of Promises Kept Ministry.
• Event Support
• Help plan and run community gatherings, food drives, holiday events, or special outreach activities.
