Volunteer Remote Donations Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Remote Volunteer Donations Coordinator to join our team at Chester’s Corner Animal Rescue.

Chester’s Corner Rescue Foundation is a dedicated nonprofit organization specializing in animal rescue and rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide abandoned animals with medical care, emotional support, and a path toward loving, permanent homes. Every effort we make is driven by compassion and a commitment to the welfare of animals in need.

How You Will Contribute:

Purpose:

Manages the donation inbox and ensures all donors receive professional, timely communication.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and manage emails sent to donations@chesterscorner.org
• Send professional acknowledgment emails to donors
• Respond to general inquiries about donations, fundraising, or volunteering using provided templates
• Maintain records of correspondence for internal tracking
• Eventually assist in sending communications to past donors

Immediate Ownership:

This role owns the donation inbox and donor communication process. Leadership sets goals, but you manage the workflow independently.

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of prior experience managing donor communications, fundraising, or similar nonprofit work
• Strong professional communication skills (email and phone)
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable handling confidential information
• Must have a working computer with reliable internet
• Must reside in the United States and be available during Pacific Standard Time hours

Commitment Details:

• Approximately 1–3 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling
• Work is completed remotely
