    Description

    Do you enjoy tinkering with machinery and shop equipment? Our aviation hangar has a variety of simple and complex tools and machinery that is used daily to help cover the last mile in missions. Our Hangar Equipment Technicians are a vital part of keeping our training fleet flying so that mission aviators can be trained and deployed across the green band.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Maintain hangar machinery and shop equipment
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly service checks on equipment
    • Monitor waste oil and fuel for hangar heating system
    • Support the JAARS Aviation Safety Management System (SMS)
    • Report activities, problems, challenges, plans and needs to the Air Ops Leadership
    • Participate in special projects as requested by Air Ops Leadership
    • Participate in and/or lead meetings as required
    • Plan and maintain personal and professional development as agreed on
