    Description

    SouthernCare Hospice of Mobile is in need of Volunteers.

    If you are searching for a way to positively influence the lives of others, you belong here! Hospice volunteers are a valuable part of our care team and make an important difference for patients and their families during a critical time in their lives.

    How our volunteers can help:

    Providing companionship (reading, reminiscing, playing cards, doing crafts, emotional or spiritual support)

    Helping to write letters or cards

    Caregiver respite/relief

    Providing pet therapy (must have pet therapy certification from an approved program)

    Perform light housekeeping or yardwork

    Prepare and set up meals and snacks

    Run errands for patient or caregiver
