    Volunteer LinkedIn Professional Network Team

    Position Overview

    The LinkedIn Professional Network Team manages and builds TAC’s professional group presence on LinkedIn. This Team positions The Animal Cause, Inc. as an innovative leader in animal welfare infrastructure, attracting corporate partners, shelter directors, industry professionals, and skilled executive volunteers.

    Responsibilities

    • Professional Moderation & Screening: Review and approve joining requests from industry professionals, corporate leaders, shelter managers, and prospective skilled volunteers.
    • B2B & Strategic Content Distribution: Share professional updates, program infrastructure milestones, technology integration highlights, and corporate sponsorship opportunities.
    • Professional Networking & Discussion: Facilitate discussions on shelter capacity, transport logistics, technology in animal welfare, and non-profit governance.
    • Skilled Volunteer & Partner Lead Routing: Identify and route incoming inquiries from corporate partners, potential rescue partners, or executive volunteer candidates to TAC leadership.
    • Group Analytics & Growth: Monitor member growth, post engagement, and demographics to refine outreach strategy.

    Immediate Priorities

    1. Re-organize LinkedIn Group branding, description, and membership requirements to align with organizational goals.
    2. Create a content calendar featuring organizational developments, technology innovations, and skilled volunteer needs.
    3. Identify relevant industry topics (e.g., shelter retention, AI in rescue operations, transport logistics) to spark professional discussions].

    1. What experience do you have with LinkedIn group management, B2B social media strategy, or professional networking?
    2. How do you tailor content for a professional/corporate audience versus a general consumer audience?
    3. How would you structure a discussion post to engage shelter directors or corporate social responsibility (CSR) managers?

    5. What is your realistic weekly availability for this role?
