Memory Bear or Quilt Makers

Gentiva Hospice San Diego is searching for an individual or group to donate their time to make either memory bears or quilts for families of patients who have passed.

For Individuals, making these bears or quilts can be done in your own home or at our office. The volunteer coordinator will drop off materials needed for either the bears or the quilts. You will have as much time as needed for each bear or quilt. All we ask is that you donate your time to making these families have a wonderful memory of their loved ones!

For groups, making these bears or quilts can be done at a place of your choosing or at our office! The volunteer coordinator will drop off the needed materials for each of these bears or quilts to whatever location needed or have supplies ready at our office. All we ask is for you and your group to donate your time into helping these families have memories of their loved ones.

**Please note that we WILL provide materials such as patient clothing, sheets, etc. We can also potentially provide fabrics and thread. We cannot provide the equipment**
