As a Caris Patient Care Volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. Volunteers provide comfort, support, and companionship, enriching the patient experience in various ways.
As a volunteer, you would have the chance to:
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide a listening ear
- Read stories or books to patients
- Enjoy a favorite movie or TV show together
- Share in the joy of listening to a patient’s favorite music
- Play card or board games to brighten their day
- Write letters or notes for patients
- Offer spiritual support and companionship
