L.E.I Community Outreach is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and community-minded volunteers to join our growing Board Committee.

We are a nonprofit organization committed to helping members of our community move toward a better way of living through life coaching, encouragement, personal development, and connections to valuable community resources.

Our goal is to help individuals recognize their strengths, identify their goals, navigate challenges, and connect with programs and services that can support their journey toward greater stability, opportunity, and well-being.

We are looking for individuals who are ready to bring their passion, skills, experience, ideas, and community connections to a mission-driven organization.

Volunteer Leadership Positions Available

We are currently seeking volunteers for several leadership and support roles, including:

• Vice President — Support the President in organizational leadership, planning, and development.
• Secretary — Assist with meeting documentation, records, communications, and organizational coordination.
• Community Engagement— Help build relationships with community organizations, businesses, agencies, and individuals.
• Additional Board & Committee Roles — Opportunities are available based on your experience, interests, and the needs of the organization.

We welcome individuals from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds. Experience in nonprofit organizations is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do

Depending on your position and interests, volunteers may have opportunities to:

• Participate in board and committee meetings
• Help shape organizational goals, programs, and initiatives
• Develop relationships with community partners and resource providers
• Support community outreach and engagement
• Help connect individuals with local resources and services
• Assist with fundraising and organizational development
• Promote awareness of the organization's mission
• Contribute ideas and expertise to strengthen our programs
• Help create new opportunities for the people and communities we serve

Flexible Commitment

Volunteer commitment is negotiable.

We understand that our volunteers have careers, families, and other responsibilities. We will work with selected volunteers to establish a level of involvement that is realistic while still allowing them to make a meaningful contribution.

Location

Hybrid — Remote & Garland/Dallas, Texas

Board and committee activities may be conducted virtually or in person depending on the activity, meeting, and volunteer's availability.
