    Description

United Way of Tarrant County VITA Program

Help Tarrant County families receive free tax preparation services by volunteering for our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. For more than 10 years, VITA has helped low-income families and individuals file their tax returns for free and get the most out of their refunds.

Now through spring, UWTC is recruiting volunteers for several volunteer positions for this upcoming tax season. Our volunteers are essential to our mission and last year, VITA volunteers gave over 8,500 hours during the tax season. Volunteers will receive training on how to file tax returns or choose other opportunities to get involved such as Greeter/Intake Specialist, Quality Reviewer and Interpreters.

Volunteers will be able to select their own schedule. Visit our website to review details and complete a volunteer registration form online.
