    Volunteer from home! Provide support for patients in hospice care.

    Are you a friendly and compassionate individual looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Patients in Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Lake, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Trumbull counties are eagerly awaiting your support!

    At Harmony Hospice Care, we're committed to fostering harmony of mind, body, and soul for our patients and their families. Join our team of dedicated volunteers and help us provide quality and compassionate care to those in need.

    You can make a meaningful impact right from the comfort of your own home. Our Remote Support Volunteers write cards and letters, send care packages, create handmade gifts and crafts for our patients, and assist with administrative tasks.

    Additional Volunteer Activities Include:

    • Providing companionship and friendly support through conversation, reminiscing, or playing games
    • Collecting life stories and special memories for journals, memory boards, and art projects
    • Sending encouraging letters and cards
    • Assisting with light household chores or running errands
    • Making blankets, quilts, pillows, and crafts for patients
    • Supporting bereaved families through mailings, phone calls, and in-home grief support visits
    • Representing Harmony Hospice Care at Community Outreach and Special Events

    Qualifications:

    • Availability and skills relevant to your chosen volunteer activity
    • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
    • Empathy and compassion
    • Completion of background check, TB test, physical, and provided training
