Position Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented, creative Newsletter Assistant to support our communications team in planning, writing, formatting, and distributing our monthly email newsletter. You will build issues in platforms such as AWeber or similar, and turn research highlights and community stories into clear, engaging content that grows readership and drives action.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and formatting the newsletter using AWeber.
- Upload content, images, and links.
- Proofread and ensure the newsletter is polished and error-free.
- Test newsletters to ensure compatibility across devices and email clients.
- Assist in maintaining and segmenting email lists as needed.
- Track and report basic metrics (e.g., open rates, clicks) to help improve future communications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Comfortable using aWeber or similar email marketing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Basic understanding of design, formatting, and email layout principles.
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
