Share the Love of Your Certified Therapy Dog - Become a Hospice Volunteer!

Do you have a friendly, certified therapy dog and a heart for helping others? Holisticare Hospice is looking for Certified Pet Therapy Volunteers to bring comfort, joy, and companionship to our patients and their families.

A visit from a therapy dog can be a powerful source of peace and happiness for those facing end-of-life challenges. Your pup’s gentle presence can ease anxiety, spark memories, and brighten someone’s day in a way few things can.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Certified therapy dogs (through an accredited pet therapy organization)
    • Caring, compassionate handlers who enjoy connecting with others
    • A commitment to making a meaningful difference - one visit at a time

    Why It Matters:

For many hospice patients, a visit from a therapy dog offers a welcomed escape and a sense of normalcy, love, and calm. You and your pet can be a source of genuine comfort during a deeply meaningful time.
