    Survivors of Suicide Loss meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month and virtually on the third Thursday of the month.

    Description

    We're seeking volunteer facilitators for children and teens grief support groups. Volunteer Facilitators are asked to make a commitment to co-facilitate at least one group monthly for one year.

    A comprehensive training is offered and includes: an experiential and instructive guiding framework for understanding the grief and loss experience of children, teens and families; reviews of educational information and research regarding children and grief; and instruction on how to be an effective peer support group facilitator.

    In-person training is at our Bannockburn office.
