    Description

    The Trust is seeking highly motivated and experienced fundraising professionals to join our team. A track record in developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns, cultivating donor relationships, and securing significant contributions. This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

    The position is voluntary and remote therefore the project hours are flexible.

    **Key Responsibilities**

    • Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies
    • Donor Cultivation and Stewardship.
    • Grant Writing.
    • Event Planning and Management.
    • Data Management
    • Reporting & Analysis.
    • Collaboration
    • Budget Management
    • Resided in New Zealand for more than 4 years.
    • Fluently speaks and understands English.
    • Te Reo Maori is advantageous.
    • Deep understanding of the cultural history of NZ.

    **Skills Required**

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Proficiency in fundraising software (e.g., Donor Perfect, Blackbaud, etc.).
    • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of fundraising best practices, including grant writing and donor stewardship.
    • Fluent speaking and understanding of English.
    • Spoken Te Reo Maori is advantageous.
    • Deep understanding of Maori Cultural aspects in NZ.
