    Description

    Translator, Spanish

    Our bilingual volunteers bilingual (English/Spanish) help bring hope and healing to low income working adults. These skills are used in clinical settings, administrative and educational interactions throughout the Clinic areas. Some of our physicians, nurses and other health care professionals need communication support with Spanish speaking patients. Volunteers also help with front office communication, intake interviews, patient education activities and follow up calls related to appointments, medications or lab results.

    3 shifts available:

    • Clinic is appointment based. Most morning visits are completed by 11:45am. Volunteer shifts can be weekly, biweekly, monthly or on-call basis.: 08:45 to 12:00 EST
    • The Clinic is appointment based. Most afternoon shifts are completed by 3:45pm. Volunteer shifts can be weekly, biweekly, monthly or on-call basis.: 12:45 to 16:00 EST
    • Evening Health Education classes are run at different times of the year. these are usually weekly classes.: 17:00 to 18:30 EST
